During research stages for Eligon.ca we have conducted a survey among single executives in Toronto in which they were asked how they evaluate potential mates and what socioeconomic factors mattered to them. The results of this survey are the foundation for our screening process in which we evaluate each member’s eligibility based on a combination of level of education, level of seniority, and level of income.
To do this we request each applicant to answer a series of questions regarding their educational background and their employment information.
We then verify this information using various methods including a legal agreement that bounds members to be honest, an Identity verification similar to a credit report (soft-hit), and a self policing mechanism where users report misrepresentation if they discover it.
Member profiles are not visible to the public, or used in advertisements. Sensitive private info will never be accessible to our subscribers, and basic profile info is carefully revealed only to a few screened and verified matches. As Well, we utilize the most current technologies and encoding methods to secure the information gathered from our users.
