I'm quite happy so for with Eligon.ca. It's a very new site so I'm sure we can look forward to improvements but the same could be said for any new business or service.

What impresses me most is the respect that Elgon.ca shows to its paying members in contrast to other similar popular services. We are not subjected to advertising. Every member has a photo.

At the other popular site, nearly half my matches had no photo! Obviously, physical attraction is one of the key factors we consider so a photo should be mandatory. On the other site, paying members are used simply as bait to attract new members who don't pay and can't communicate which results in a frustrating experience as you can't tell whether your match is just ignoring you or they are not paying members. The "free communication weekends" are another tactic to attract more non-paying members who get matched with paying subscribers adding further to the exploitation of the paying members. It just invites the cheap-skates and freeloaders.

What's the point in giving me matches I can't communicate with? Do I really want a match who thinks paying $32 per month is TOO much to find a life-long loving partner or who can't afford the $32 per month? Do I want someone that's that cheap? Do I want matches that lie about their age which is quite common?

If you pay for a service, you should expect to be treated with respect, not subjected to advertising (although this is not BIG deal for me), not be given useless matches that you can't communicate with and not used as bait for new subscribers.

Eligon.ca treats it's paying members with the respect and quality service they deserve.

Eligon sounds exactly like what I have been looking for. I have not been on too many dating website as I quickly discovered that they are all pretty much the same in terms of the demographic that is being attracted with no real way to verify.

I did pay for a membership with a very poplular Ontario dating service and then never heard back from them again. It appears that Eligon is very different and I hope that I will be approved and start to find quality men who are looking for classy, well spoken and educated woman with values and integrity.

As a professional harpist I have the pleasure of performing at some of the most prestigious venues and the flexibility to create the lifestlye that I desire and that is something I find truely fulfilling.
